Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
Active state licensure in good standing (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent)
Active professional liability insurance
Experience working with trauma, PTSD, or stress-related disorders
Familiarity with Veteran and First Responder culture (preferred)
Certification or interest in or willingness to learn equine-assisted therapy models (e.g., EAGALA, Natural Lifemanship, PATH, or similar)
Ability to work collaboratively in an outdoor, dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time licensed therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with service-oriented populations and enthusiastic about incorporating equine-assisted modalities into their therapeutic practice. Prior experience with horses in a therapeutic capacity is preferred but not required- training can be provided.
This role involves conducting individual and family therapy sessions, collaborating with equine specialists, Clinical Director and supporting clients as they engage in unmounted, experiential activities with horses.
